Kai Feng and I had an enriching year as he was in the afternoon session, we have one-to-one time together in the morning. The time wasn't long but it was enjoyable. I will definitely miss it next year. I was happy to be involved in the P1 enrichment and KF's excursion, although tiring I think its worth the effort to help the teachers and know more about the children in his class and in the level.

It was a long awaited trip and the day finally arrived. It was the first time experience for the 5 of us to drive out of Singapore and into another's country. My cousin bought the boys "Tumbling Monkeys" during the KR and KW's birthday celebration. And the boys love it. They love to see others collect their monkeys they dropped. Our little bookworm, Kai Wen, simply loves reading and he can memories some of the books we borrowed from the library. Whenever we visit the library he will choose the books he likes and he will not take any book you gave him. Afterwhich, he will carry those books for scanning and all the way home. Each boy is given a drawer of their own to keep their little "treasures" and others are not supposed to take it. IMM is a great shopping mall in the west. A spacious area for kids to roam, all kinda shops, number of eating places and car park is free for 1st 3 hours. KF's instructor decided to discontinue the Friday swimming lesson. His reason was due to his work schedule. We have decided to let him carry on the lesson on Saturday morning and so we have to send him to Temasek club. The travel time is about the same but we have one more activity on Saturday now. Every year the children will be given a project topic to work on during the June holiday. The project work is carried out in 3 phases. P1 - Brainstorming, questioning, discussing & planning. KR been cycling with his bumpy 2 mini wheels for quite a while and he cycled so fast that he always fell off the bike at the turning. Most of the time he was cycling on 2 big wheels hence we decided to let him try on 2 wheels. Unlike KF, KR is one who likes to share the joy of his birthday with his friends. So we decided to bring a cake to school and let him celebrate with his classmates. I was quite surprised that he looked a bit stunned during the celebration maybe it was his first time with so many kids singing birthday song. This was the birthday celebration for Kai Ren who is 4 on 17th and Kai Wen 2 on 15th. It was just a simple cake cutting after dinner at Rong Guang. The boys were delighted when they saw the cake and everyone sang the birthday song for them. :)

We celebrated mother's day 1 week in advance for my mum and mum-in-law to avoid the crowd on the actual day. We went to lunch buffet at Fullerton on May day and the boys were extremely delighted with the food. They were able to go outside to view the nice scenery of the Singapore river and then back into the restaurant for fruits and desserts. Boon2 had fun opening doors for the guests too.

Being the youngest in the family, Boon2 picked up a lot from his brothers. Especially in terms of speech development and interest in reading. We were quite impressed that last week he could say "Ants bite me" and yesterday he told me "I want to sit with Mummy". I may be a bit "mountain pig" but for KF he only called Daddy and Mummy at the age of 2 and KR can speak a word or two before 2 years old

We count our blessings for what he is today and we are always thankful to Prof Lee Wei Ling and Dr Tan for their advice not to let him continue with any seizure medicine, also our relatives and friends and of course our prayers. We brought the boys to the Kids Kampong today. I do feel disappointed because there are limited pets in the kampong and they closed another area of pets corner to the public. Traditionally in our ah-goh-goh-goh family, we took our family photo during the 1st day of CNY. There is no particular reason for doing so, just that we were usually very well-dressed during that day. :) And following the traditional, we will always visit Ah Ma and Ko Poh, then followed by Tai Po and Sok Gong. KW is coming to 8th months old and he has mastered the sitting technique when he was 7th months old. We are now trying to train him to crawl... He enjoys to be carried and to go out for a walk. He will make noise and when we carry him to the lift he will keep quiet. This is the naughty boy.

KW made his very first turn on 14/10/2008, 1 day before he turned 5 months. He is slower than both his brothers, for KF and KR, they are able to turn by 4 months. I think part of the reason is because he wasn't put on bed or mattress to roll around that often.Poor KW always get running nose and cough from his 2 brothers. Last than 1 month he just had running nose and cough, now he got it again...

KF's concert was held at Victoria Threatre, they had a full dress rehearsal with full make-up 2 days before the actual concert. KF has been attending the Yamaha Junior Course since March 08. This was gong gong's bday celebration. Jiu jiu bought dinner for gong gong, po po and 3rd kow gong's family. We din joined the dinner as KW is still too young to be exposed to outside. Since the arrival of KW, we have stayed indoor most of the time. We have more indoor activities for the boys. Like playing with the blocks, xbox360 where KF enjoys shooting, Yamaha revision for KF where KR picks up the do re me stuff, some writing and colouring and also the boys favorite "Play-Doh". We started off with the octupus with a few sea creatures like sea horse, fish, crab, corels etc.

KR finally had his MMR jab yesterday. He is now 11.6kg and 91cm. His weight is slightly below average and his height is at the 90 percentile. So KR is the tall and "san po" type. To my surprise, he din cry nor struggle during the jab. He was very co-operative too. KR now fights with KF more often, he is more demanding to get what he wants.He will say "ha ha" when KF got punished too.　Whatever KF

KW is 1 month old. I brought him to a PD at Kidslink for his hep B jab. He is now 5kg and is 57cm long. He seems to be progressing faster than his 2 brothers. After the confinement auntie left, we are doing quite well. His feeding is more predictable and he is also able to sleep well at night. Except for a few terrible cries at night when we do not know what is going on, everything was fine. :)
